Rescue miniature horse saved from auction! Steve say it so often “ no matter what the size of the horse or pony their equine brains work and react the same “. Here in North Carolina Steve demonstrates this by working with a miniature horse that had been rescued at auction . She ( Abbie) was skin and bone and petrified of people when rescued and although after years of living with caring owners ...

Dan's young horse is very green and hadn’t been sat on for 9 months ! Steve worked with Sammy twice a day restarting him and ...

After a serious accident in the trailer there was no way this big mare would load! She had worked out how to avoid the lorry or trailer and if pushed would either rear, bolt off or violently escape to the right. Hours of trying time and time again has only made her fear of loading worse. Our shop: steve-young-horsemanship.myshopify.com/ Join this channel to get access to perks: ua-cam.com/chann...

Hours and hours of trying to re load her has failed 😞 and getting very dangerous . She now runs off and pulls hard to h...

*Wow this awful loud woman couldn't be a bigger grouch nor more hypercritical; TOTALLY feel sorry for little Jasmine having to tolerate this "lovely thing". God, my head is still ringing from her screeching at those children.*

Took me 3 weeks to catch my nervous, injured, 3 y o TB! She got to the point where, whenever I tried to LEAVE her paddock, she would very skillfully catch the backs of my shoes with her toes, preventing me from moving my foot, then she would shove her shoulder in front of me, blocking my path, and finally she would envelope me with her head and neck! 😂😅 She would tickle my 3 y o daughter's neck until she was a hysterical laughing mess on the floor. She was HUGE, yet so skillfully gentle. I know Steve would NOT approve, what she got away with, in my company! But I adored her! Yes, I rode her - totally her choice, she would stand conveniently near a fence, I'd slide on and we'd go for a blast around the paddock. She would go left/right, depending on where I was leaning, and at a pace I would demand using voice, and degree of my body relaxation.

Was this the other horse of the 2 that can't be separated a while back or the same horse/a reupload? Not that I care, I always get something out of rewatching your videos. Thank you so much for all sharing your process. Even though it's been many years since I had my OTTB (who went to an amazing home after me), I feel like I'm seeing what I couldn't give her and what I can hopefully give to another horse soon.

Yes, I do learn some dog training from Steve's horse training. Tanya, I have a young (now 2 year old) Springer Spaniel that I got from a wonderful Breeder as a pup. We adore her!!!!! She is fearless and can scare a huge German Shepherd away and at other times frightful of stupid stuff such as a new handbag. Would love Steve to do a video on how to help. Yes, I know it's important to desensitize. I get through one thing to face another. If this keeps up, you need to come to Virginia. We do have a senior male Golden Retriever who is her leader and best mate. He is a huge help, but I understand we need to separate them. Wonder what Steve thinks.
